[SPOILER] Theories about Creastwood and the house

So just finished season 1 tonight after staeting the season 3 nights ago with my wife. We just did the last four episodes tonight as we couldn't stop watching! I have now spent the last hour reading as much of this sub as possible.

One thing that seems to be common is this idea that we are viewing multiple universe during season one. I like the idea that the tilt shift effect marks one universe from another. Then throw in all the weird changes with doors being shut and buck disappearing while he sees a crash and people having mom's and then not having mom's all point two multiple universe. This got me thinking that maybe the house they choose to meet in had significants in another universe, OA talks to Steve in one the episodes about how the house could have had a family and goes on to talk about how may have lived. Could it be that this empty house hold some power. The estate is clearly a new estate and is built on very uneven land with a big lake, could quite easily be an old mine site, could there empty house be there location where they were held in another universe. Did OA pick the people because of there proximity to the house, OA picks Steve after she sees him on the roof of the empty house, later she meets buck, French and the weed boy in that house. Just an initial thought at the moment it's still building in my mind.

I feel like I need to go back and mark every scene that had tilt shift on and every screen that doesn't and start a time longer for each, and then recheck all details around there empty house. I will continue to read through this sub and build on others ideas as well.
