Is Brad Guzan Still the #2 Keeper for the US?

I assume unless something changes, Tim Howard, despite his age, is the first choice keeper heading into 18.

For years, Guzan has always been considered the #2 without question, and some would say he's been the #1b to Howard's #1a in the US Keeper pecking order.

I have really been unimpressed with Guzan for a while now. The goals he allows are rarely directly his fault, but it always seems like they are in his wheelhouse at least and he just fails to react in time to get a hand or body part on them.

The soft goal against Martinique was really bad. I get that it was maybe a wet field, etc. but come on. He needs to make that save regardless at this level.

After Guzan, you have Hamid, Johnson, Gonzalez and Robles.

Are any of these guys ready to take over as the #2, and potentially the #1 after Howard hangs it up?

My preference is Hamid, as I have followed his story and really like him personally. He is good for a howler every now and again too though.
