3-letter ENS auctions started?

What the hell? I just noticed a bunch of auctions started like "eos.eth" "beer.eth" "360.eth" see https://twitter.com/ensbot

But when I try http://registrar.ens.domains/ still reads:

Name is too short

Names are temporarily limited to 7 characters or more. This limit will be reduced at some point in the future.

MyEtherWallet also says the name must be 7+ characters. WHAT'S GOING ON?
