M/21/US Happy to be your accountability buddy!

Hi!

I'm brand new to reddit and am really excited to see that subreddits like these exist! I have personally struggled with finding the daily motivation to make the progress I want to see in my life for about as long as I can remember. While there have been times in my life when I have gone to the gym religiously and eaten chicken, broccoli, and quinoa for every meal, I've found that those levels of motivation are impossible for me to keep up for very long. Frustratingly, when I am doing really well in one of my goals, I always do much worse in all my other goals (ie. academic/professional/social), as if I only had the willpower to do at most one significantly productive thing at a time in life. I am really just tired of promising myself I will do something only to make some weak excuse for not doing it when it comes down to it, and I think that the right application of social accountability could be a great solution.

I just finished up with school (studied computer science in CA) and have some months before I start looking for a real job, so I figured I would spend some time trying to learn what I can about motivation by helping others stay on track to accomplish their goals. If you think I can help you in any way then let me know! I'm here to help you reach your goals, and in doing so, you'll be helping me learn why I haven't been able to reach mine.

Feel free to PM me if you are interested and want to know more about me, or if you want to share your past experiences. Let me know how I can help!

Thanks!
