Please help! Windows 10 blue screen on startup.

Hello after recently having problems with sound drivers on my computer a few days back my computer blue screened. After restarting it blue screened again during boot up. This loop continued multiple times until it launches the boot menu. From here I cannot restore, use an old backup, or anything it just says it fails. After doing research I've opened command prompt and typed in the following cd windows\system32\config ren system system.001 ren software software.001 Although I cannot rename software due to it being used in another process. I've tried everything. This is very annoying since I cannot use my computer for the last 4 days. If anyone has a fix for this please let me know! Thanks in advance Colin
