Really odd question but how many people do you think are in the hosting city during the Super Bowl?

Like in 2015 during SB50, how many people were in that general vicinity.

Some of my friends have suggested 250,000 and one said up to a million but I think it would be even more.

I'm genuinely unsure. I apologize if this question is annoying and it gets downvoted.

Maximum pop. possible: 7 billion

We're up to ~7.5 billion now.

However, that's still not the 10 billion the prophets foretold we would have by 2010.

I don't know anything about the weight of Rockport Analytics, but in their Pre-Event Estimate of the Economic Impact of Super Bowl LII on Minneapolis- St. Paul presentation they estimate 125,400 expected non-resident visitors (page 9).

This is good information. If there is anything else I'm curious.

Normal population of the city + (2 x stadium capacity).

When the Super Bowl was at the Meadowlands a few years back NYC was still hustling and bustling.

Can't speak for East Rutherford since I don't live anywhere near there, but I am sure the hotels and restaurants in the area did well, despite that general area being a wasteland.
