Hi, I'm Alyssa, and I'm a 28 year old woman in a non-monogamous marriage. I have one 2 and a half year old daughter. I am chubby (but on an intensive diet/exercise plan) 5'1 with brown hair, glasses, freckles, and a crooked smile. People tell me I'm cute. I'm really into sci fi, in every form- video games, books, television, movies. I especially love Mass Effect (specifically 2), books by Dan Simmons (Hyperion is my favorite book ever!), and Battlestar Galactica (favorite television show!)

I love to read. Besides sci fi, I love romantic poetry (I have a Keats quote tattoo), fantasy, and philosophy.

I also watch a lot of TV! My favorite shows are Battlestar Galactica, Six Feet Under, Parks and Rec, The Office, Broadchurch, Peep Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, Silicon Valley, Broad City, The OC, Game of Thrones, Eastbound and Down, Scrubs, True Blood, The Expanse, The Handmaid's Tale, Star Trek (TOS and Deep Space 9), You're The Worst, Stranger Things, Vikings, Falling Skies, The Larry Sanders Show, King of the Hill, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Rick and Morty, Brooklyn 99, and probably some others that I'm forgetting.

My sense of humor is pretty sardonic and dry, but also silly. I love to analyze books and television, read and construct theories about them. I spend a lot of time drawing, love to craft, work with my hands, and make things.

My favorite band is The Mountain Goats, and meeting John Darnielle was one of the greatest moments of my life.

My ideal date is literally just laying in bed, cuddling, and watching tv.
