Does anyone have experience with the Cuisinart Chef's Classic set? How does it perform?
I'm trying to stock my first personal kitchen and I've found this 11-piece Cuisineart Chef's Classic set that I really like. I've read a lot of people saying not to get a set as you will probably not use everything in it, but that's why I've elected to go with the 11 piece one. From my past experience in the kitchen, the only thing in here that I may not use is the 8" frying pan. But I think that's fine to have extra lying around for the cheap and convenient option of getting everything else I need as a matching set.
My questions is, does anyone have experience with these pieces? I've heard Cuisinart is a good brand overall, but I just want to make sure their Chef's Classic pieces will distribute heat evenly and not scorch parts of my food. From reading some of the lower reviews, it seems people say the cookware will develop black spots fairly quickly that will then burn parts of your food. Can anyone verify/refute these claims?
