Mouse randomly stops working on CSGO menu

Hi guys,

I'm having a weird issue that recently started happening with CSGO. Sometimes my windows cursor will stay on the csgo menu (normally it disappears and you get the CSGO cursor in the main menu) and after this happens I can't interact with the menu at all. The CSGO cursor sits in the middle of the screen and my windows cursor is free to move around and I cannot click or interact with anything. My console also will not open when this occurs.

To fix this i've tried unplugging my mouse (Logitech G203) and plugging it back in and tried different ports, restarting csgo, restarting steam, verifying game cache (had to reacquire files but I still can't operate the menu afterwards), reinstalling CSGO, alt tabbing and going back in all to no avail. The only solution is restarting my computer every time this glitch happens.

I've tried googling for a solution and found no similar issues and i'm hoping someone can give me a solution so this problem stops reoccurring. One thing to note is i'm pretty sure this problem started happening when I got this mouse recently but when I try plugging in a different mouse after the glitch occurs it does not fix the issue.
