Can't immediately leave 1s game?

This is entirely rage inducing. If I'm down a bajillion goals, and I forfeit during a replay, I can't leave until not only the replay finishes, but also not until the stupid end game dance shit is over. Why can't I just instantly leave? The button only says Forfeit over and over.
