Today Was The Day

Today was the day that we had to say goodbye to my Pitty Rochelle. She lost her battle to Lymphoma Cancer after 15 months. She was the sweetest most gentle dog and we will all miss her immensely. We adopted her 6 years ago. She was already 2 years old and had come from such a terrible situation. We went into the Kennel knowing that we wanted to get a Pitbull. They have such a bad reputation and are often not adopted just due to their breed. We met with a few dogs, but they just didn't fit right. Then she burst into the meeting room. Tail wagging jumping on us and with this huge grin on her face. We knew she was the one. We brought her home that day and loved every minute of it. Her adoption fee was actually waved to give her a better chance of being adopted but she still had sat in the kennel for a year before we adopted her. Rochelle's previous owners had left her in a crate to die when she was not even a year old. Well it was their loss because we got an amazing dog out of it. I wish we had gotten more time together. Eight years really isn't enough. I made a video picture collage of her for my Youtube channel that I'm going to link if anyone wants to see it. Thank You for this place to post. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oHrkxPNMro
