Question for Oslo Erasmus students

Hi! Moving to Oslo in two weeks for Erasmus! I have a question for anyone who is also going or anyone that's already been... Is it weird to go with a parent? My mum really wanted to see the city so i suggested she come with me and just stay in my dorm but am now a little worried that's a weird thing to do haha! Is anyone else taking a parent or have in the past?
