Quick question

Hi,

I am entering my first year of a Physical Therapy program and decided I want to go electronic for my note taking. I want to get a chromebook but I'm scared if it is the right way to go. I read some of the links in the sidebar but want some first hand experiences to go off of. Basically, I will be needing the chromebook to take notes with OneNote and uploading it to my OneDrive. Occasionally I will need Word and/or Powerpoint (but I am aware that I can use the online variant). Is the chromebook the way to go? I am thinking of the C302 since it has the touchpad and keyboard (is there a cheaper option I could go with that has these features?)

TL;DR - Need a laptop or chromebook for primarily note taking and paper writing but not sure if chromebook is the way to go. Cheaper option than C302? Would I be able to get OneNote for the C302?
