New Tech ammo consumption and loadout recommendations

How much ammo are people packing for the NewTech weapons? I love having input when I think about builds, so I figured I'd ask.

I thought I'd be playing more of the ammo-based NewTech by now, but I've been playing exclusively with the new energy weapons and the new UACs. I know how to pack for the new IS UACs (because ClanTech) and IS LBs (don't pack them to begin with /s).

So how much ammo are you packing for your MRMs, light/heavy MGs (do they even have a different consumption rate?), RACs (lolracs), ATMs and light/heavy Gausses?

How are you gauging it when you pack it? is it 'X' tons per gun? 'X' per tubecount?

How does it scale for bigger launchers or cannons with different cycle times? (or MG consumption rate if it's a thing)
