Is Talon boss Maximilien Jack Morrison/Soldier-76's "old boss"?

So, in the Doomfist comic, Maximilien, one of Talon's leaders, says that "there's no such thing as luck". I recognized the line from another comic...Turns out that Soldier-76 mentions to "Ana" in the Old Soldiers comic that his old boss used to say that "There's no such thing as luck. Just good genetics". Then Ana proceeds to respond that he sounds like a jerk, to which Jack replies that he "Kind of was".

Here's the two moments I'm talking about: https://imgur.com/a/FbOjO#8T1trcV

Though I find it difficult to believe that an Omnic was his old boss. I'm guessing perhaps both Maximilien and Soldier-76 have the same old boss? Perhaps he enhanced Jack and created Maximilien? If so, could he be the real big bad?

And if not, could it just be that Maximilien was a human who had his mind uploaded to an Omnic body?

And if that's not possible either, is this just a coincidence, or perhaps maybe just Blizzard really wanting to let us know that they don't think there's such a thing as luck? Perhaps it's just a common theme in the world of Overwatch?
