Run and Gun Documentary and Commercial gear
I own a small film and photography business focused on story based marketing. I hope to create films and photos that truly outline the stories of local entrepreneurs, rather than creating basic commercials.
Because of this, I operate a very run and gun shooting style. I attend live events, I sit in on production times for businesses, I aim to stage nothing.
For this style of shooting, what gear would you recommend? I own a Panasonic G7 and I'm hoping to upgrade to a GH5 but before I upgrade to the GH5, I aim to fully kit out the G7.
What lenses, stabilizers, rigging, lighting, audio, and monitors would you recommend for this style?
I'm currently looking at picking up a Speedbooster, a sigma 18-35, and a couple Rokinon primes. I've been looking into some of the handheld gimbals but I'm worried my lenses will quickly outweigh those.
What would you recommend? Thank you all.
