3ds XL Cracked Hinge

I had my Crimson Red 3ds XL for years.. Today I was playing Super Smash Bros for 3hrs. After finishing, I inspected my 3ds. I then noticed a small crack on the right side of the hinge that is as small as a piece of hair. Question is, should I worry about it? Im really careful with my 3ds and I want it to last as long as possible. Thanks.
