9 Months Braces
Hiya everyone! I have had braces for just over nine months now. Since then, I've gotten four extractions, dry socket, and an endless amount of professional meetings with food in my wires. My orthodontist initially said that I would have these bad boys on for two years, but that was before I decided to go through with the extractions.
Yesterday was my tightening, and he said my teeth were all aligned, my bite was perfect, and that we just have to close those two very small bottom gaps. He then had the technician put on power chains. Does that mean I'm close to done?
He dropped a bomb on me as he was walking through the threshold that he was leaving that office and that next time I came in, I'd be dealing with a new ortho. I decided on going to this office BECAUSE of this specific orthodontist. He came highly recommended. I digress.
In your reddit opinion, does it seem like I'm almost done?
