Pg279q or 4k hdr or quantum dot tn panel?

I just upgraded my pg278q to a pg279q. I know it's not that big of a dif, but I love the ips, and less grainy anti reflective coating. However, I heard about hdr displays (4k only at this point?) and quantum dot 1440p.

With respect to the 4k hdr, huge performance hit vs 1440p. I prefer the high fps for smoothness.

With the quantum dot monitors, I see only tn panel now from Asus.

Am i making a mistake keeping the pg279q?
