Healed

I remember, like most of you, hearing my first Linkin Park song. I was a young, angry, emotional 12 year old kid. Just got thrown out of private school as was about to start public middle school. I was in a rough spot even though I didn't realize it. I was flying to go visit my grandparents when I heard Somewhere I Belong for the first time. This is back when each seat on the airplane came with a headphone jack so you could listen to the in-flight music. The way the song struck me, I was immediately hooked. I remember listening intently to the radio station, waiting for the song to come back on. Over and over I listened to it. The emotion Chester sung with, somehow it just connected with me. When I got back home, I went out and bought Meteora. It became the soundtrack to my youth. Thank you for your contribution to the world Chester. I dont think you understand the immense effect you had on thousands and thousands of angry preteens like me. You will be missed.
