XFX GPU RMA Process Experience - what to do?

Hello!

I've been dealing with XFX support tech about my GPU that was faulty due to normal conditions(not mining).

TLDR; XFX support said there was a card that they tested, now saying that they don't have one in stock.

What i'm asking right now from you guys - should I buy a low end GPU maybe RX460? and return it after I get my original GPU?(was an RX 480)

EDIT: the reason i'm asking is because I really want to play my games this weekend which are the only consecutive days off I got after a few months.
