Going for Arena Leaderboards

Hi guys,

I have always loved Arena and consisered myself pretty good at it, but recently I decided I want to take a shot at reaching the pinnacle of arena players. From the guys who have made it, what should I know/prepare for/do especially to acheive this goal?

I consider my classes in order of strength to be Paladin, Rogue, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Warrior, Shaman, Druid, Warlock.

Update: I started a new account to focus on this goal--went 12-0 first run! Off to a good start and thanks for the comments :)
