What's happened to the gameplay over the last couple of weeks?

This is not another rage/complain about gameplay thread. I only play online seasons, and I only join games that START with 4/5 bar green connection and stay that way. If I join a game that starts with 1 bar connection and then moves up to 5 bar connection I leave and search for another game.

Something has literally changed in the past week or two and I don't know if they've changed something in a patch or if it's the servers? Yeah the gameplay has always generally been bad but it's at the point now where I can't even make one touch passes, I've got players like TOTY Cavani, TOTS Sanson, TOTS Lemar, end of an era Alonso and end of an era Lahm who are turning like oil tankers and literally taking like 3 or 4 seconds at times to control and trap a ball and get off a pass. My players are literally (and yes I mean literally I am not imagining it) slugglish and slower.

Maybe in the past I've had the odd game here and there that's been like that but it's been every single game every day now for a couple of weeks straight. I normally even used to average 85-90% pass accuracy and now it's like 75% no matter how careful I am.
