My [22 M] friend [22 F] moved away. A couple of months ago she would always talk to me about how I meant to her and that I could never be replaced. Now, she won't even bother talking to me.

Non-Romantic

Before anyone says she had feelings for me, the answer is no. I'd asked her out and she said although she likes me she won't date me and ruin the friendship. As early as march of this year, She always talked about how we should go on a trip and do all sorts of things before she moved. Over the past two months though, she just stopped talking to me and did all of those things with her other friends. I was upfront with her about feeling a little bad that I got left out and she got a bit upset and eventually claimed to resent me because I couldn't be happy for her having fun and we talked about it too much. Now I feel really disappointed . Like I had a friend who wasn't really my friend, but rather said all those things because I provided her with comfort during that time. One thing that struck is that during that time She would come to me whenever she needed to get things off her chest, and this isn't the first time I've noticed this in our friendship. Eventually, after I asked, she came forward with dating one of the guys she took on the trip. Now, i understand why I may have not been invited. All the same though, various other friends went and She didn't even think of inviting me. I'm happy for her and I understand that change is tough, and moving away isn't easy, but all the same friendships work both ways and I wished that she would have taken the time to try and understand me too. Fellow redditors, what advice or insight do you have?

tl;dr my friend moved, and even after saying all these things she completely moved on in her life and it's as if I never even existed
