Wanted to share my recent purchase with you guys!

It's 2014 GTI Wolfsburg Edition with the 6MT, picked up CPO with 13700 miles. After driving incredibly boring cars my whole life (96 Honda Passport and 95 Volvo 850) I decided to treat myself. Knowing I wanted something fun yet practical, I began browsing Focus STs, GTIs, Mazda 3s, etc.
The ST interior was an immediate letdown but it was quick when you needed it to be and handled very well.
The inside of the 3 was surprisingly nice for the price point and carried momentum through corners pretty well, but lacked power and emotion in my opinion.
The GTI seemed to be the best of both worlds. Quick, nice interior, and handled as well as the ST (although I've heard otherwise but I'm not a good enough driver to push the cars to their limit).
This is my first manual car so the first couple weeks were rough but I love it now. In the month and a half I've had it, I've done a couple small things (front lip, catback, tint) to get it looking and sounding how I like without going overboard. Anyway, enough rambling. Thanks for reading!
