Tribute To Chester Bennington

Chester Bennington. To many, not only was he the catalyst for their love of rock music, he was their escape from a cold world. He would make them feel numb to the pain in their lives. They would put on his music and leave out all the rest. Ironically, the pain his death has caused to those very people is a great one, one that I'm sure had them wanting to faint and has them walking with heavy hearts. One that has them feeling like they're dying from the inside. One far greater than a papercut, or even a thousand of them.

While his departure from this world has created a new divide for alot of people, we can all be assured that the pain he had while alive is gone and that he'll have no more sorrow. His flame hasn't gone out, it's just burning in the skies now. He has been embraced by a light that many believe is a light that never comes.

In the end we're all going to be that same light, but let's not find ourselves having given up and waiting for the end. Let's find the good that life can offer. Like Chester Bennington.

Chester Bennington will live on, forever, through his music, which will always be a safe place for my head.
