Will it be too much to lean towards mobile app development and web development both?

I am interested in both subjects, and starting my cs major as well as my programming journey. Right now I only know basic python. Should I lean towards only one of them, for the sake of both mastering it and having a more specialized kit in the long run for job interviews, or trying to pursue both of them are completely fine?
