How do i get motivated for school?

I will start by saying I love learning but I hate school. I hate feeling trapped and being told to do repetitive tasks that only seem to help me develop my skills the first few repetitions and after it just seems like a waste of time. When I was younger, I could suppress this feeling and really get things done but starting my sophomore year of high school I became very bitter and neglected my studies in favor of work, social life, outside learning, etc. I still passed almost all my classes and graduated easily but this set a precedent of failure that I'm still perpetuating today. In the year since I graduated I've done two semesters of community college where I skipped/dropped/failed all 7 classes I took. I hate that I let myself down like this but I really don't feel like I can be successful in school. Everything seems basic and slow-paced and I just get bored of it so quickly. On top of this I really have no idea what I want to do with my life. I was thinking architecture because in high school I did very well in my CAD and arch/engineering classes but after taking some courses in college I know that it's not what I want to spend my life doing. I feel lost and I'm sad because I know I'm capable of being successful but I have no idea what I want to be successful in and I don't want to subject myself to years of self-hatred to get there. I feel like I'm 19 and I've already signed up to be mediocre for the rest of my life. How do I fix this?
