Can tasker 'forget this network' without root?

Reason I suspect root may be needed is because I would think wifi network connection settings are system settings.

My problem is that LG handles wifi networks w/ landing pages weird. Networks without passwords are auto-saved, and LG uses some internal landing page launcher that only pops up the page for new networks - so at the gym, I have to go through extra manual steps vs it just auto-connecting and me having to OK the landing page.

I'm thinking of running a 'forget network' task every day at midnight, and using tasker to auto-connect to the network if/when it detects it.
