21 M UK - just moved to a new city

I just moved, as I am doing an industrial year placement. I have been here since Monday and I never knew what loneliness was until these past couple of days.

My roommates all seem nice enough, and I have had quick chats with them all, but they all keep to their rooms. The landlord did inform me of this as I moved in so its not like they're just gonna change their habits for me.

I don't start work until next Monday, however I have already met them all on my interview. They are all 30+ with families, and even so most of them live in the town I will be working, whereas I live in the city.

This is my first time living in a big city, theres so many people about but I am just going stir crazy, feeling depressed etc...
