[Original Run] Garland Briggs Theory

I was watching Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces for the first time I'm up to date with Season 3 as well. I had a theory about Major Garland Briggs there is a line which I've linked in a image format could this be talking about the monster we see in the Palmer house in the teaser ? Could Major Briggs be this spirit invading the Palmers house ?

"Shall make war against them, and shall overcome them and kill them"

"The beast that ascenders out of the bottomless pit"
