#tbt aka totally bpd thursday
Short backstory: Got engaged to BPD ex last summer, he cheated on me and broke up with me a month after proposing because he "needed some time". I waited around for three months because he claimed it was a "break" but then later admitted it was in fact a break up (but then claimed it wasn't, etc etc the usual cycle). Finally gave up on waiting around for him and started dating again. Once he realized I had found someone new, he flipped out and has been trying to get me back ever since. I went NC in March/April and haven't responded to his texts/calls/anonymous messages on my blog/etc since. He's tried all kinds of things to get me to talk to him but I haven't responded, and I've been doing amazingly with my new partner so I have even less desire to get back into that bpd spiral.
Yesterday, he posted up a "#tbt" of a private text conversation between the two of us from two years ago of me telling him about a really difficult conversation I was having with my grandma about racism in America. He put up two lines of me quoting some of the (extremely racist) things she was saying and captioned it "#tbt I was going to marry into this family."
All the comments underneath are telling him he's lucky he found out before we got married, that he "really dodged a bullet," lots of rude things about my family, etc. I wouldn't have even seen the post (he blocked me, lol) but my mom and sister both still follow him and saw it. My mom commented "Really?" underneath it but he didn't respond to her.
I definitely want him to take it down (it's wildly out of context and incredibly inappropriate, and I don't appreciate him violating my privacy like that at ALL) but I have absolutely 0% desire to talk to him whatsoever. I'm ignoring it for now because I've got way too many other things going on to worry about him, but I really don't appreciate him putting our private conversations from TWO YEARS AGO online for all his followers to see. It's clear from the context that it's not me who's saying the racist things, but it's still petty and unnecessary and it's clearly just him lashing out because I won't take his calls.
