What is up with the chat?

I was thirtieth in line and then after 40+ minutes of waiting, when I got down to #1 in queue and an estimate of two minutes. I sat there for 15.

Website says this "Now the item can enjoy big sale 35% OFF with coupon code ecubee35,now get one only $1.99 ! Quantity is limited, please order now." for the "ECUBEE EDC Hand Spinner Aluminum Alloy Fidget Spinner Tri-Spinner Finger Focus Reduce Stress Gadget"

but when I try to use it the code is rejected. It tells me "This coupon can only be used on products in a specific category and on orders over a certain amount."

but there are no details on this or why this would not apply since you are advertising it on the exact page.
