Playing on an emulator

Is it possible to play and FC songs on an emulator?

I've been having problem both with lack of disk space and low performance on my phone. However, I'm not sure if it's possible to do flick notes on an emulator, then it would be impossible to play the game well.

Anyone who has tried or know how to do it?
