Gaming and Toddlers, is it possible?

In a previous post about what ruined your game night, many of the answers had to do with having kids. Is it feasible to still play board games with others when you have toddlers?

I think this topic has two sides. Have you ever had friends want to bring their Toddler's over to game night? How do you react, does it ruin the night?

On the other side of the coin. Gamers who had/have kids, how do you still enjoy and play games with others, when you have kids you have to look after?
