1+2 or 3+4 Macros on fightsticks?
I set 1+2 on my R1 button and 3+4 on my R2 button to help with switching stances as xiaoyu. First is it tournament legal to assign Marcos like this (not actual combos) while using fightstick? My gut says it is and additionally, how do you feel when stick users assign these two button macros? I've heard that most people look down on it i.e. Aris and tasty Steve, but IMO, if you're not assigning combos to it,I think it's fine. I spend less time grinding execution (you're still grinding it but it's not as big of an issue) and spend more time learning match ups and the most important part of any fighting game, the neutral and mental game. What do you guys think?
