Weird Music Issue

So up until yesterday I was able to listen to a bunch of music I have on my microsd card. Today all of a sudden Crimson Player, Pi and Shuttle don't see the music at all but see the playlists. On the other hand Musicolet sees everything. When I use a file explorer to manually play a file I get the option to use all apps except Crimson. But if I choose Shuttle it doesn't see it and Pi does. I did notice I got the July security update over the past day or so. WTF Any idea what's up?
