Quantifying Suffering

What is with Omnis thinking it is okay to "minimize" suffering via a clean kill or some other fucked up shit?

You don't think about a human, I don't know, seeing their mom die and go "Hmm... Definitely an 8 on the Suffer Point scale."

It is impossible to quantify! Or presume how an animal feels about getting killed! It is a sick attempt at rationalization. These people trick themselves into thinking they are logical just to get through the day.

You can not quantify or measure suffering. The best you can do is avoid imposing any unneeded pain on others. Hence Veganism. Hence compassion. Hence trying to be a decent person.
