I'm so excited, I just discovered that my super TBM friend from H.S. found her way out and I am so happy for her that she found her real self.
unsubscribed throwaway because reasons.
A short time ago I was watching a youtube video on model rockets and clicked on a video in the side pane. Despite the title, it turned out to not be a video about rockets but about a small craft business with the word rocket in the name. I was about to click to another video when I heard a familiar name, the name of a super TBM girl I was really good friends with in high school. This girl and I used to be so TBM, we went to early morning seminary together, both went to BYU, both served missions, lived in the same house, used to race each other to the podium on fast Sunday. This girl was so strong in faith and I really looked up to her. We lost touch after BYU.
I'm thinking Nawh, it couldn't be the same person, the names are common. But as I'm watching the video I hear where they are located, and I can't shake the idea that it is in fact the same person. So I googled the name of the craft business and found a community magazine article. There was her picture and it is most definitely the girl I went to school with, with another woman and a young boy, and the caption identifies the other woman as her life partner of 12 years, and the boy is their son. And she looks happy.
As I'm reading the article I see the writer has included a lot of back story about them and not just the craft business, about how they met, and mentions how they are sipping an imported craft beer as they tell their story.
Holy shit! I'm so excited. My super TBM friend from H.S. found her way out and I am so happy for her that she found her real self.
