Splatoon 2 minor complaints

I'd like to start off by saying that the game is great, it is tons of fun and i have no doubts i'm going to play it for a long time. That said, the game has (in my personal opinion) a few kinda annoying design flaws and missing features, most of which are pretty minor and could be solved by simple updates:

• No split screen multiplayer: Seriously, the Wii U version had it, they could have just improved upon that existing mode but they decided to scrap it entirely instead. This might seem pretty minor but really there's no reason why it shouldn't be here
• Salmon Run is online only: With the Switch being marketed heavily as something you can take on the go i find it pretty annoying that one of the game's 3 main modes does not allow you to play offline
• The app: I don't think i need to explain why this is a problem... The app itself is pretty ok but it just... Shouldn't exist
• (Minor nitpick) You can't skip the intro news: You'd think after allowing you to skip Sheldon's dialogue they would also allow you to skip this but apparently not, this can get really tedious if you just stop playing and later pick the game back up only to find out you have to waste 2 minutes hearing the map rotation which is prominently displayed in the lobby anyways, same thing goes for when the map rotation changes and you are forced to sit through that again
• (Minor nitpick) There's no way to reset the options back to their default setting: Seriously, is that too much to ask for? I had to delete my savefile 2 times before i even started playing because i forgot what the default sensitivity was and since you can't change it mid-game i can't realistically try all of them to figure it out, eventually i just took a screenshot of the defaults but i really shouldn't have to do that

Like i said this is my personal opinion but i'm interested to see what others think about this
