Client not connecting to servers on OSX

I had 'uninstalled' the WoT app on my mac about a month ago (tossed the app into the trash is all...). So today I wanted to reinstall it and play again. So I redownloaded the wrapper, stuck it in the application folder, and tried to run WoT. I get the error 'failed to connect to the server. the server may be unavailable, or your network connections settings may be wrong.' And the ping looks like this. So then I went into the library/application support directory and deleted the 20GBs of data there. Reinstalled everything, ran it, same error. Same grayed out ping. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. I'll PM you pics of my cats if you help.
