How late is too late for adding a class?

Just a quick question. I have finished all my assigned classes this semester and I still have 10 days left and I have started working on a class and should finish the reading/notes this weekend. I haven't ever added a class in the last month before. If I call my mentor on Monday and I have already taken the practice assessment (and did well) would he add it?
