Best Budget Lenses (canon)
Hey Reddit, New to this sub, but came here because I'm really looking to expand my skills as a photographer/videographer. I have a canon 60d that I use mainly for landscape/skiing photography (i live in a mountain town in western US), but I really want to start doing some videography of all of the cool action sports/backcountry sports available in my area with all of the talented people in my community. Also definitely interested in weddings/events as a way to make some extra money.
This brings me to my two main questions, what is the MUST HAVE lens for video on a canon 60d and is there a cheaper version of that top of the line lens that will achieve the same effect? Basically trying to figure out aspects/builds that make a lens awesome for video and why, and what the options are at the top and bottom price points. I'm most interested in wideangle because I have the kit lens with zoom up to 200, but I'm open to anything. I've been eyeing the Canon 10-18mm just because of the price. Is there any reason to steer clear of that or a better option?
