How to clean Pro Controller?

I've usually used some wet wipes or something similar to clean my controllers but in the past, most of my controllers have had the rubber break from the analog stick. I'm not the cleanest of people so I usually eat and use my pro controller which makes the analog sticks slimy or slippery. What should I use to clean the controller efficiently and safely?
