5000i or X-700?

So long story short, I own a 5000i that I came across in a thrift shop for $20, came with a 35-105 kit lens and a vivitar beercan which has a faulty zoom. (as in it catches)

I recently came across a fellow selling an X-700 with a 50mm f/1.7 lens for $60.

I feel like this might be a no-brainer for some, but should I scoop it up?
