tool buying tip: automatically monitor amazon for sales
I'm all over this site that I just learned about: www.camelcamelcamel.com (or ca.camelcamelcamel.com in canada). You can see the pricing history for amazon items so you know what the high and low prices are, and you can have it email you when a target price is reached.
For example, I want the Dewalt 735 planer, but I don't want to pay the current $599 CAD asking price. I can now tell that it's recently sold for as low as $500, so I put in a price alert to email me next time the price changes to $500 or less: example
Figured this might be useful for some of you out there!
