Stir bar missing, can't make it back to the LHBS to get one. Macgyver solutions?

Making a high ABV beer and suddenly can't find my stir bar for my starter (probably currently sitting in one of my cat's caches of small stuff around the house). I'm considering some off-the-wall solutions for doing this, including getting one of my screwdriver bits and wrapping it in teflon tape and using that as a stir bar.

Anyone else have a solution? There's a hardware store close if that helps.
