Should I switch from the pill to an IUD?

I'm an 18 year old girl and I've been on birth control pills for about a year or a year and a half now. My boyfriend stopped using condoms a long time ago because, let's be real, it feels better without latex. He always finishes inside me and I haven't gotten pregnant (yet, fingers crossed). I was wondering if I should switch to an IUD. And if so, copper or hormones?

TL;DR: On birth control pill for a year. Cream pies galore. Don't want to get pregnant anytime soon. Should I switch to an IUD and if so which one?
