Update scan schedule - how much pressure on SUP?

Hey guys, question- I've recently been having great fun with my SUP server running into some high load situations. (yes i've gone through the WSUS pool advanced settings etc.).
What I'm wondering about is the two client settings for software updates: "Software update scan Schedule" and "Schedule deployment re-evaluation".
Our org is really focused hard on getting update compliance to extremely high levels and uses the reporting to go after machines that are non-compliant. One of the things we've done to support this is to bump these values up from the 7 day default to 2 days on the scan, and 1 on the re-eval.
I have a decent understanding of how the two work thanks to Mr Sandys (https://home.configmgrftw.com/notes-software-update-scan-cycle/), but what i'm wondering is, could this cause undue pressure on my SUP?
