Are the reason why so many gay guys are single because they are picky?

I mean, i only meet and date attractive guys who are fit and slim, but the personality the guy have is atleast a little bit important to me. Like, im not into religious guys, or racist guys (only sick people are racist though, no normal guy is racist), lazy guys, conservative guys or overly feminine guys, and even if they look like supermodels, i would turn them down because of that. And it works for me.

But from what i have heard most gay guys ONLY care about looks, and not personality and that is why so many gays are single. It kinda makes sense because i dont know how many gays i know or have met, probably over 100, and i only know 2 gay couples. (im 21) What is your experience on this topic?
